What do you get when you combine quilting and Paintstiks™? You get a wonderful new quilting technique that is easy and fun.
There are no painting skills required!
Come let Michelle teach you an exciting new way to make unique one of a kind original whole cloth quilts, quilt blocks and even miniature quilts.
Students will learn the tricks for creating elaborate original design stencils. Explore the design elements, mix and match different designs for the perfect project. Experiment with colors and adding textures.
Students can choose to work from one of Michelle's designs or create your own one of a kind design following her guidelines.
During class students will work on a couple of quilt blocks. Blocks can be used in a small wall hanging, placemats, table runner or pillows.
Students will learn to create stencils from freezer paper or contact paper, apply stencil paints and heat set.
Students will be given several designs to experiment with. Come learn the basics of stenciling quilt blocks.
Michelle looks forward to sharing this fun and easy project.
Class fee of $60.00 includes lunch and all Paintstiks and Stencils!
